Purilogics Awarded NIH Grant to Develop Novel Affinity Membranes for Enhanced mRNA Purification
Purilogics, a company recognized for its best-in-class membrane chromatography technology, development, and commercialization, is excited to announce that it has been awarded a significant grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to support the research and development of first-in-market high-capacity, -selectivity, and -throughput affinity membranes for the purification of mRNA. With a grant amount of $1.7M from the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program, Purilogics aims to develop mRNA affinity membranes with enabling accelerated purifications for both small and large mRNAs, as well as create and conduct field research on prototypes through industry collaboration.
